ANA/NJ is a volunteer, nonprofit organization for acoustic neuroma patients, their families and friends. We have two important goals:

First, to provide support and information to patients before and after treatment. We do not give medical advice or referrals. Our members are available to meet with newly diagnosed patients and to encourage and share their own personal experiences.

Our second important goal is to increase public awareness of the symptoms of acoustic neuroma so that accurate and timely diagnosis can be assured.

Membership in ANA/NJ is open to anyone who has been affected by an acoustic neuroma and/or is interested in supporting the goals of the organization.

ANA/NJ holds two general meetings a year with speakers and programs of interest to acoustic neuroma patients, and we support local meetings planned by members in different areas of New Jersey. We publish a semi annual newsletter and maintain a Directory of members and friends and a general Registry of New Jersey acoustic neuroma patients. We have held regional conferences at Morristown Memorial Hospital and in Princeton.
